NEW ACCOUNT PROMOTION

To entice the growing amount of one-time buyers to return and purchase more, we created this new account campaign. Our goal was to not only offer three coupons to create a buying habit but to talk about why they should do business with us.

This was piloted in small groups several times in different regions of the US. Each time we reviewed data to see what we could improve on.

The first version was a tri-fold brochure with detachable coupon cards and a list of locations nearby. We realized customers didn’t feel like peeling off each coupon card so they would keep them all together in the brochure. Some found the brochure too large to carry around and so it was never fully utilized.

The second version we aimed to cut down the size by changing it to a bi-fold. We replaced the three coupon cards with a tear off bi-fold business card. This way the coupons would be easy to detach, stay together and fit in a wallet.

The third and final version was simplified to a flyer to reduce printing costs.
